4th Generation help 97 camry won't start - timing belt problem

I have a 1997 camry 4 cyl, with 209XXX miles, this is what happened, one night I was driving the car and I heard a sound coming from the engine, I stopped the car and i noticed that the sound was coming from the timing belt . I had no choice but to drive it that way home (5 minutes away) for some reason I took the cover out ( top cover)belt seemed lose, I thought the belt tensioner were in the botton cover so i took it out but i was wrong and i didnt make any reference in the belt so i tight the belt but I didnt line up the cam and crank so i start the car but it didnt start, so i noticed i had to line it up, finally I did it but car wont start. I dont know what I did wrong I clean the spark plug they're good, check fuel is good, my car doesnt have distributor it has coil pack they're good, what else could be? I talked to a mechanic he said I may have bent the valve, I need Help!

if you bent the valves you surprised me. you have a non-interference engine. so there is a indentation on the pistons to help keep the engine from dying if this happens.

recheck you got all the timming marks right and your cam and crank sensors are set right.

I'd bet the belt isn't lined up correctly.

Update, My car still down it's almost a month with out my camry, I brought a mechanic home he check the camry and said my engine is lock, I told him fine but I know for sure my engine is not lock.

My friend brought his mechanic he told me its could be the timing belt it's not line up correctly or maybe I bent the valve also he said to replace the water pump and the belt, but I think he doesn't want to do the job I called him but no answer, so basically I need a somebody in the tri sate area who wants to do the job of course I'm gonna pay? thanks
