Question no brake lights

I have a 1992 Toyota Camry. The brake lights have all gone out. None of them are working. The shift lockout is also making it so that I can not shift out of park unless I press the button and hold it well I shift out of park. We have checked all the fuses and relays that we can think of, and the wiring under the dash. Any one else had this problem? or have any idea of what to look at? I need to take my son to the doctors but can't go anywhere with no tail lights.

Can you pull a code? That would help I'm sure.

I'm new to owning a Toyota so I have no clue how to pull a code on it and none of the shops around me can tell me how and I can't afford the amount that they charge just to have them see if there is a code coming up on it.

There's a switch attached to your brake pedal. That switch actuates the brakes lights and the shift lock release. That switch or associated wiring is bad.

No idea where you go from here as I've not fixed one before.
