Exclamation Custom Scepter Panel (attempt 2)

this is pretty much a continuation of my old post. this time i didnt add any primer to the project and just fine sanded everything. i used a flat black at first to block the brake light from showing at night, then added a couple coats of a high glossy black. finally added clear coat and letters. the product looks so much better with the letters spaced out as some of you said, also hella better without primer either. the primer on the old one made the surface feel rough even after fine sanding

oh and also all red side lights

let me know what you think now

its real simple. you pretty much got 3 options; buying them, tinting them, or what i did, spray them! went to a Ace Hardware (or hobby shop) and got a spray called Testors Candy Apple Red + your choice of clearcoat. then tape off the areas you dont want red (i did the black outlines & sprayed the whole thing, if you just spray the orange..up close you can see that it has a patch of paint) and do light sprays. the nozzle sprays in a large portion so stand back a bit when spraying, dont want it too thick. then keep adding layers until you match up the red to what you want, finally clearcoat for shine and protection.

oh yeaaa just opened the box! thanks alot man..but sadly this red doesnt match so im going to get to work on it. great paint job on it too :\ feel bad, btw how far to the edge did you bolt up spoiler? (the closest to the end of the trunk/tail light area)
