I replaced my passenger rear power window regulator with a new one today all went well or so i thought. I finished up and later realized
the window goes down when i push up on the window button and up when i push down on the button. Not sure if its the motor or maybe i reversed the wiring clips? Any suggestions would be much appreciated am i am a newbie.

I'd say you reversed the clip, but if I remember correctly, you can only put the clip in one direction. I would first check the clip, and if it is properly clipped in, simply reverse the 2 wires going to the motor (cut them and do a little switcharoo). You should be fine And btw

How old is your vehicle? What was the original problem or symptoms with the window.
Assuming you have an exact replacement "regulator" (motor?), and the window still sometimes "acts up":
Frayed or broken flex cables can cause odd symptoms, often intermittent.
These run inside an accordion like rubbber boot inside the hinged part of your door.
The boot can be released from the door with some effort, be careful not to rip it.
Squeeze down the moulded part on the door and persuade it off.
Push the accordion ribs back to inspect the cables.
The problem may be with the driver door cable, from the master window control panel,
as it is usually subject to the most flexing and wear.

i'd say refer to page 88 in the body electrical PDF file...but i dont remember where the link is to them online. you'd be reversing pins 1 and 4 to correct the problem. make sure to disconnect the battery, use a multimeter to check everything, and solder all wires and heat shink/electrical tape them up right.

It's not random if you know what your'e cutting but yes that typically is a bad idea... albeit there are only 2 wire going to the motor no?
occasionally there's more than 2 wires going to the motor....but in this case it may just be 2. my point is, don't try it if you're unfamiliar with electrical work.
