i guess this is kinda dumb but everyone keeps sayng my 95 camry front door speakers are 6.5 inch, except crutchfield, who says its 6.75 inch, which is it really? does it even matter? the guy who put in the last ones, which are 6.5s said the screws went in sideways, so im guess it is actually 6.75.. but now that they did.. can i put in new 6.75 ones? or should i put 6.5s in again. will the screws still thread in or am i screwed, no pun intended lol. thanks in advance!

I have a 94 and I switched out my speakers to Pioneers which are 6.5 in

oversized 6.5 ....... so ya 6.75

I put 6.75" in my 96 camry.
Without drilling any holes, I could use only 3 screws to install the speaker.
Now it has been 3 years, it still works fine.
