4th Generation swaping the 5sfe to the 1mz

new to this
but i was wondering would the 1mz v6 from say the first gen avalon fit in my 1992 camry with a five speed trans and if not what would i need to make it fit in there

since you already have a doner car it would actually be fairly easy, the actually swap that is. the big question is wether you can use the avalon's ecu and engine harness. i dotn think you could so id be willing to bet youd have to snatch one from a 1mz camry.

yes it can but a donor car would be very helpful and as for the engine harness they would swap over alsoit's straight forward. i've done the v6 conversion before
(i say conversion cause i used the entire donor car)

as long as teh tranny is a e153 or e53 then yes. if its your 5sfe's manual...then no.
