Question *help Identifying Noise!* Video Inside!!!

First thing's first...
*The quality of the video is terrible, I took it on my cell, sorry
*My flippin brakes make that squeek!-squeek!, they're tempermental, that's not the problematic sound!

Well the video pretty much says it all... The right side stopped making noise after I installed the quick boot and has been reliable thus far. So my newest issue is that the LEFT side has begun making these noises today!

From what I've read once the joint is compromised it is basically grinding metal to metal without the ball bearings supporting its natural function, thus the CREEEEEAAAKK, THUMP, and BANG noises are created.

So what I want to confirm is that sound(s) you guys hear in the video is most likely my cv joint crunching on my axle and needing replacement!

I will be doing so friday at a place a stone's throw from my house (replacing axle, boot, shaft, etc).

Hi JCamry94
What did you end up doing finally? Did that stop the creak? Whats the condition of the creak now?
Please let us know.
Thanks in advance!

I got both axles replaced and no longer have any problems! It WAS the axle that was creaking!

Thanks for the reply.
Does this sound like a creak coming from CV joint? Its a pesky issue with my car that I am trying to diagnose. Please ignore the thumping caused by going over the bumps. THere is a distinct creak that I am referring to.
