they made gen3 (92-93)v6 se 5spd camrys for those 2yrs only. in 94-96 they only made the sev6 in auto but it was available in the 2dr only. so to answer your question yes they are rare.

check out the history of the camry in the stikies section on the top of the camry general forum.

i have owned a 92 and a 93 SE V6 with a 5spd. i still have the 92 and i have had sight unseen offers of over 3K for the car. i will not sell it because its such a great car and its extremely rare. i don't know exactly how many were produced. here's a nice road test on the car:

yeah i absolutely love this car. right now i use it as a daily driver mainly because its a stick and get better mileage than my 86 accord. I have considered driving it less because its rare. I also got it pretty cheap. $800.

you should make a acceleration video. curious to see how my es300 would fare since i have a taller final drive and more weight.

.xShAgUaRx., a fellow 6m1 owner! i love the dark emerald pearl! your SE is the first i've ever seen with leather!! i prefer the cloth because i hate hot seats in the summer and cold in the winter. the cloth appeal to my personality i guess! your car is extremely clean and i'm super impressed with the leather! i guess my next plan is to paint the SE and bead blast and re-clear my wheels. they were horridly neglected by the previous owner...

The leather is from the previous owner. He and my friend were at the wreking yard one day and saw a lexus with perfect leather seats. My friend said those would prolly fit in the camry and there they are today. that was one of the selling points for the car.

do you know any history on the car or do you have any paperwork or the window sticker from the car?
