Question Raising Springs?

This may sound really weird, but I wanna lift my Camry a few inches.

The ground clearance is a bit lacking and I keep scraping stuff on certain driveways. It's gotten so bad I bent my flex pipe for my muffler and had to replace that.

So.... the question stands, does anyone know of a place that sells lift spring kits for a 96 Camry?

3rd Generation

They don't, it would have to be something with a universal fitment.

Camry's aren't that low stock though... are your struts bad? Springs sagging?

The best I can tell ya is to get METAL coil spring boosters @ Autozone or the like, they will left em an inch or so

Nope, brand new struts -- I'll look into the METAL coil boosters.

Not sure why they even make rubber ones... they'll wear out and you'll end up in the same position all over again.

Thanks.

Struts do not support weight so unless you installed new coils with your struts you are probably dealing with worn out coils. I recently installed the Monroe Quick Struts (pre-assembled with new coil already installed) on all four corners now my Camry sits higher than stock so new coils might be the ticket for you. Or you could just get a 4Runner or a Landcruiser.
