Question about exhaust gasket

Hi All

MY 97 Camry le I4 need to replace the front exhaust gasket where the pipe connect to the mainfold.

Question one is do I need to replace the 3 bot? The toyota manual says that's not reusable bot.

Question two is do I need to apply some high temp silicon for better seal?

Thanks

if the 3 bolts are in good shape, in term of good thread and not badly rusted, i would reuse them.
i don't think high temp silicon is good for exhaust pipe, it will melt and vanish in a few minutes probably.
the exhaust gasket are cheap, only a few bucks from local auto store or dealer. and any metal gasket like exhaust gasket are not recommended to be reuse.

OKOK...

tough work.. the studs on the mainfold is really stupid design... Why don't they use bolts instead of screw? I have to replace two screw with stainless bolts from homedepot...

If anyone need to do that again, please get some 3/8 one and half inch stainless bolt.... I can't find any one and half bolt with full thread... I leave the about 1/4 inch on there because it's too big to fit the hole. You may try 5/16, they seems works.
