3rd Generation Gen 3 Flush Ventshades

Im looking around for ventshades now because ebay sent me a pair for a 91 corolla -_- but luckily my friend owns a corolla .

But i know that a lot of the ventshades out there have different styles so im asking everybody who has them on their gen 3 to post a pic. Im looking for something almost near flush to the window but does not cover up the trim.

Thnx!

they all cover the trim since they have to adhear to the door. and theres only one style and millions of copies of that one style...sticks about an inch out from the surface.

i seen someone either on here or cardomain put stick on ventshades topped off with some chrome liner to fix the trim problem. didnt look bad at all, but that doesnt answer your question, just an option

the ones on that white camry look sweet. ive been looking for window visors too for a while. check www.weathertech.com . they have in channel visors but unfortunately they only have them for the front. they will sit in your window channel w.out adhesives and won't cover up and chrome trim.

Here's a link to "In channel" Vent shades, 4 piece! I searched a 96 Camry 4 dr sedan.

The PDF on installation, shows in channel!

But being one of the few members here that run Vent shades, the In channel ones, in my experience, have more of a tendency to fly off when the windows are down.

So using extra adhesive at the install (3m tape, goop, etc) wouldn't be a bad Idea!

Thnx eyeball!

that site up there is the only site that sells a 4 pc in channel set? i dont see in channel anywhere except for the instructions..im kinda shady spending online and if i end up getting ones that go over the trim for a shitty price then ill be sad

edit.
went on google and typed in the part number AVS 94913 and it says OUTSIDE CHANNEL

blah..looking for a 4 pc in channel visor for a 92 is irritating

please let us know if you get back a response back to your question. I love the practicality behind them but don't want an ugly piece of plastic to stick onto my chrome trim and paint. imo in channel looks way better i just cant seem to find a 4pc set anywhere for the gen 3/3.5

I just bought some cheapo visors on ebay a couple of days ago for my gen 3. My a/c pulley bearing was going, so i just bypassed the AC. My defrost function is now hit or miss wince I don't have a/c, so it helps to crack the windows when it rains. They were $36 shipped and probably pretty crappy, but as long as they fit and get the job done, they will be fine for the beater.

I'll post pics when I get them and let you guys know how they work.

yeah my ac pulley bearing totally locked up and put me in the same situation but i got a new compressor and conversion for 700 at a local shop. the deal was to help them take out the compressor -_-

i just got an email from these guys and the ventshade 94913 is not in the window channel..sorry. looks like its going to have to be expensive to obtain something different.
