EEngineer's 5SFE auto to 3VZ 5spd swap thread

as an inaugural post, i publicly announce that the WERKS has started
the works are being conducted by none other than the three legends on TN:
Tony the Tiger, Eye8Pussies, ASG14

of course my friend cruisn76 helped out a great deal today as well.

pictures will soon follow cuz i was too tired to snap shots of the work done today

but here's what's going on so far

i bought a 3VZ5spd camry as a parts car and swapping everything to my car and then turboing it next year.

and today the donor car was prepped to be gutted...lots of parts came out lots of things taken apart...tomorrow the engine gets dropped with the subframe and it'll be taken apart to be inspected..cleaned...etc.etc.etc

stay in tune for more ass kicking build

actually i got 1 picture

the parts i bought from ASG14 to prep for the engine and tranny swap

wish me luck fellas

Thats awesome! This should be a sticky! U will have as much power as my ES300 . Are u dong a rear disc swap too? I notice the backing plates in a gold color. Need hubs? I got a pair from my ES300. In good shape but it has no ABS rotor for ABS system...

i'm glad you guys are documenting this, cause i didn't

adam knows what to do and how to do it. i would change out the brake booster and mastercylinder also that way there is no confusion when it's time to replace.

oh and btw start parting out the parts car

your keeping the hydrolic fan right? are you going to keep the ac? if so mount the electric fans to the front and hook it up to a switch to help your ac work alot better.

if there are any question you can alway call me adam has the number.

also what kind of v6 camry is it? le xle se dx? sunroof?

good luck man
