Code has not returned yet. I suspect my cats are on its way out. My question is my car seems to have two cats. One in the front of the motor and one before the resonator. Which one needs replacement? Or do both need replacement? Should I replace them now or wait till the codes come back again?
Car has 152XXX and runs strong and getting good mpg's.
Thanks

if you've taken it to the dealer, they'll prolly tell you to switch gas to a different brand.. and it helps- but the problem stays. I was told that it was the cat. on the exhaust manifold- so i dumped, - when i say "dumped" .. i mean i spent ALOT of money on a replacement. .. but it was NO help at all.
- a few of the subaru guys have the same problem.. and they can almost swear its the one before the resonator. im really tempted to get mine replaced too just cuz its fkn emabrassing when people are in the car saying.. " what's that smell? ". LOL.
