starter. or fuel line bad?

could it be the starter or fuel line or anything else? when my engine is cold/cool i have a hard time starting it? but when it my engine warm( after many tries and letting it sit at idle) it start up normally? the dashboard light come on and everything. but when it does'nt all i get is a noise like the electric is running but not starting. Sometime it tries to start for a brief 5sec. then it dies.(when i hold my key on start) but i also was told that maybe it was my sparks or my carbuater is dirty? so help me please???? im at a wit end wit this problem.....even though bout buying a new car...but this is my first car and i dont wanta....my the way it a 1994 Camry Le V6

you dont have a carb, you need new starter contacts, you can go to toyota and get a rebuild kit.

is there continuous cranking?

you should go get an OBDII code reader and see what pops up. Does not sounds like your starter. It sounds like something else.

Starter i'd say. I've seen before where the solenoid will engage briefly, then retract the gear from the flexplate and freespin the starter.

Rebuild kit, or if you don't feel comfortable doing that, get a rebuild starter and turn in your old one to get the core back.

i installed a new starter and now my problem is slove...it start normaly now....by the way is there any was to Diagnostic ur car without using ob2 reader? but wit a paper clip? if there is could u let me know?
