Ever hear this noise?

Started making this noise about 2 weeks ago when it started getting cold. Usually would go away when car warmed up. I thought maybe it was the starter gear not returning, but the starter is fine. This is coming from the transmission. You can feel the vibration on the transmissions oil pan. Here are a couple of videos:

The first one is after I got home from work. It only makes the noise when the engine is revved. The vehicle is already at operating temperature. That noise before starting the engine was just me rolling down the window, btw.

This video is the next cold morning. The car is already running.

Wednesday this week it started slipping 2nd gear at W0T, enough to overrev the engine. Also began to go into Drive/Reverse slow when cold, will also shutter when shifting gears when very cold. A CEL came on yesterday, will find out what it is today as I pick up parts at Advanced for my truck I need to get running so I have something to drive while this is out. Hope it makes it till then.

My baby is sick .

The check engine light is a code 773, shift solenoid circuit. The guy at Advanced Auto said the buzzing may be the hydraulic pump, Is this different from the torque converter?

Try dielectric grease on all the trans related connectors, if that doesn't do it, see the service manual for checking the solenoids.

that sound is simlar to the sound of failed water pump. I used to have a failed water pump. when I started my engine, it made that sound and always went away after it warmed up

try some auto stores. some mechanics can point out after hearing only noise or story

It's bit the dust. No forward or reverse gears. Sad day. The buzzing is coming from the transmission side of the engine, water pump and all that is on the other side. My original thought was the torque converter. Will review the manual and see what's up. If I end up having to rebuild this thing, any recommendations? Shift kits? Places to get parts/manuals cheap? Thanks.

While I know very little about the inner workings of automatic transmissions it does sound like an oil pump sucking a lot of air. Have you checked your transmission fluid level lately? Make sure that you check it with the car running and in park.

Oil is fine, I check it every time I check the oil. It even still looks and smells new, I changed it myself about 20,000 miles ago along with the filter. Ill post new info when I get time to look at it closer.

Had some time to mess with the car today. I'm convince it is the pump in the transmission, if I leave the car in gear long enough it will slowly engage the clutches and the car will move eventually(though it slips). Though I haven't had the pan off yet, is it possible the filter could have come off? Anybody ever changed the tranny pump? I fully intend to drop by a transmission shop and pick someones brain. Another thing, would a bad pump cause that CEL? Something I noticed as well, tranny may have been slightly over-full, not much, but enough to be over the hot level when the engine is cold. And it's prolly been driven like that for 45k miles :-D
