The steering wheel/airbag rant.

I've been doing a little project with my steering wheel. I'll go into more detail later.


Anyways....I have a JT vin car. I got a new steering wheel from a 4T vin car. Turns out, a JT vin sirbag won't fit in a 4T vin steering wheel. End of story. The brackets that hold in the airbag are completely different, and you can't swap them because theryre different lengths. The 4T vin cars as have 2 screws holding in the airbag instead of 3 screws like the JT vin cars. Just another one of those little things thats drives me nuts. Now I have to find a 4T vin airbag....

Basically the info here is:

4T wheel + JT airbag = no go. (and it's prolly true vice versa.)
4T wheel + 4T airbag = works....hopefully.

Just something to be on the lookout for when you start screwing with your steering wheel.

yeah i was literally 2 minutes away from finishing it. just need a new airbags.
