93 4Cylinder Camry bucks @ 2000rpm & Stalls when warm

Hey all,
New to the forums here and I am trying to solve a problem on my brother's 93 Camry (4 cylinder, auto, 160,000mi). The car will stall when it is fully warmed up and he comes a stop in traffic. Also, at any temperture the car bucks at around 2,000rpm. He can drive through it if he continues to accelerate, but if he keeps it at around 2k it will buck and hesitate. It has a fairly new cat and exhaust (there is no CE light). We are going to clean the TB with Deep Creep, but do any of you have any further recomendations. He does not have the cash to spend a fortune, and does not have the mechanical knowledge to keep from getting taken to the cleaners at a shop. Thanks much in advance!!

1) it could be your coil pack inside distributor go bad
2) it could be your Temperature cooling sensor go bad

I would check in that area

Make sure you get a liberal amount of the cleaner down in to the square or diamond shaped port in the base of that throttle body. That port leads to the idle air control valve where your problem may exist. Here's a good how to on cleaning the 5SFE throttle body:

Thanks for the tips. I cleaned the TB yesterday, with no change. Coolant temp sensor makes sense, and I will look into the EGR as well.
