Does any one if the 5S head bolts are torqued to yield? Or if you can use the 3sgte head bolts instead of the OEM 5s ones?

You can use oem 3sgte rod bolts, but the bolts will not clear the camshaft gears. So you will need to grind a bit off the 3sgte bolts, or you can just buy ARP 3s bolts they fit perfectly.

well all i find is ARP 3sgte head bolts, and the 5s and 3s head bolts seem the same according to your statement

The reason the 3s oem head bolts won't clear the camshafts gears is because they are a different style they are a bit taller than the 5s head bolts, so they cause an abstruction to the gears. I have all types of head bolts both 5s and 3s the arp ones for the 3s are just short enough to clear the gears.

I miss read this^ Its The ARP 3SGTE head bolt that work with the 5s head.
When i say 3s im talking about the turbo 3sgte engine, and not the NA 3sge beams engine.
