timing is the biggest thing and finding a proper location to mount it.
no one to my knowledge has yet to use a trd sc on a 3vzfe engine.
but it sounds like your set. just need to find out where you will put the thing........

Eh, the TRD charger HAS been used on 3VZ's, it just needs an adapter to fit to the intake. There's a guy (Paul Woods?) who makes them for 3VZ-powered MR2's. As far as camry's, though, I'm not sure if anyone has one mounted at the moment...

why not turbo? the costs would be close to the same and your doin customizing anyways.

in either case...are you manual? if not then id scrap any FI ideas till you do a manual swap.

hey everybody im doing a manual conversion as we speak alongwith a upgraded clutch. have looked into turboing the car have been qouted from the work shop that is doing the work on the engine around 10grand (aus dollas). the charger option is about $2000 cheaper and for the power im after i dont think its worth turboing the car for 270 hp when a charger will do the job just fine.

a stronger load of fail is still a load of fail

if your doin a manual swap thats great! personaly id rather the roots style of the TRD if im goin SCed. but the customizing and difficulty finding one may limit you to the cintrifugual charger. that path has had som criticizm in teh past due to the way it makes boost and the power band onf the 3vz. torque is fairly high up in the power band which is a negative when talking about cintrifigual.
