I got some scratch but no dent.

which method should I use? paint? rubbing compound? polish compound?

which method will work fine? thanks

So are you saying that is a ton of paint transfer as well as mild scratches? How deep are they? If you can catch it with a fingernail then it may be too deep to repair without compromising the clearcoat....

If its alright, then take some Meguiars ScratchX and use a bit of "passion" with a foam applicator. That should slowly remove the paint and even out the scratch so it blends in. If you need something stronger that is OTC, Meguiars Ultimate Compound will work too. Good luck!

yep, try polish or light compound first. It may clean it up to where any scratches won't be noticeable.

If you can't buff it out, you'll probably have to get that painted. I had damage in that same area and had a shop repaint it. Came out close to $1200 because they had to paint match with the rest of the body.

It looks like tire scuff marks which might be removed by rubbing compound, but it may make
thr area hazey. Still better than what it is now.

Sand down the area. Check your color code in the VIN plate. Drive by Pepboys and pick up a $5 touch up paint kit. If your car is beige then dont expect it to match, just live with it.
