3rd Gen 6cyl Donor for 5sf swap

What all is involved in getting a 3vz (from a donor car in this case) into the 5fse car. The 3vz is a 92 le the 5sfe is a 93 le. Do I need anything special? Or can I use all the parts from the 3vz to make the swap. Aslo wanted to swap brakes. This is a direct swap right? Is there anything I should know before raping my 1mz donor car to swap everything to the 5sfe model? Thanks any info would be greatly appreciated.

Eh, I think your '92 V6 is a 3VZ
Brakewise, a good budget upgrade would be to scrounge up some LS-400 calipers

For other questions on the swap, ask ASG14, Tony, Eye8Pussies and EEngineer (they recently started a v6/5-speed swap)

Yeah actually I was just reading that. Too bad I dont have a 5speed to swap in too. My donor is an auto.

Yeah I was actually just reading it. Too bad My donor car is an automatic. Im not really building it I just wanna swap. Ima ask some questions on that thread.

if it were me id wait till you have the parts for a manual swap. if your 5s works theres no rush and the 5 speed really makes the difference. the V6 is still slow...just not as slow. trust me

congrats on picking it up man. Justin was tallkin to me about it today, said you wanted to make it a race motor. if ya need any help and i have time ill lend a hand. never done a swap but an extra hand is always helpful.

BTW...did you see were having a little meet next weekend. didnt see if ya posted there.
