Attempted MAF cleaning, no start

Greetings, I have a 93 Toyota Camry XLE. It was stalling so I decided to try to clean the MAF sensor. I couldn't get it unplugged, and I unscrewed these two screws...

3vz maf with screws circled

I think it might have blown a fuse, as I didn't unplug the battery. I believe I'm having the same problem discussed in this thread:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=436870

I'm going to get an ECCS fuse and try that. Are there any other fuses it could be? Thanks

the metal piece that is on the plug needs to be opened up and the plug comes off easily. then you can check to see if all the pins went back where they are supposed to go.

Take off the Cover on top.

Look where the strips of metal touch the circuit board. (near where the screws are)

Push those strips down onto the circuit board.

They likey are not touching. Happened to me before.

Sorry I'm confused. What cover are you talking about? The cover over the wires? I don't see another cover that looks like it will budge

Alright, I have an update. I was able to get the wires unplugged. I then unscrewed the cover again and took a look. The cover will not come out. There's just several metal tabs. Are you talking about these touching where the plug is?

Oh, and an attempt to start the car with the MAF unplugged resulted in a start and then immediate stall.

I have another update and I'm really hoping to get a few replies. I was able to get the cover off. Sure enough, the three metal prongs in the middle were not connected to anything. It appears they were soldered to the circuit board, but I'm not sure. I think I'll be going to the scrap yard to try to find a new MAF, unless anyone here thinks I'd be able to fix it without doing so. Would I be able to find just the circuit board somewhere? Thanks

Well alright, I'm starting to wonder if you guys have any input at all. Even though I haven't gotten any responses I'm going to post again. When I had the MAF unplugged and started the car it would keep running if I pressed on it so I'm pretty confident that's my problem. I went to the scrap yard today and found what I believe to be a perfect replacement for $10. Hopefully it works. I'm installing it tomorrow. When I took the MAF of my vehicle, I still don't understand how I would've cleaned it in the first place. For the sake of cleaning the one from the scrap yard, I'd just like to know how it's done. Everything I've read refers to a wire than needs to be clean, but having the MAF out, I still don't see what could be cleaned. If anyone has every cleaned one on a camry, please let me know what the deal is. Thanks

Sorry dude i dont spend much time in the camry section i drive a corolla now.

By cover i mean the plastic D shaped cover that is siliconed to the MAF. Inside is the circuit board. On that circuit board there are prongs (thats the word lol) soldered on (like you said). The MAF problem i had was those becoming detached. My problem was it starting but dieing immediately (not idling). I simply pushed the prongs back down on the circuit board. If that doesn't work for you i guess you need a new MAF. When i cleaned mine i left the wiring connected and lighty cleaned the inside with a toothbrush and solvent.
