3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I met a fellow Richmond Va member, that accepted an offer, (that I asked him to refuse) on a like brand new set of, 09 Gen 6 Camry SE Rims.
The wifey gave me a little bit of grief, but I bought them anyways.
I had the TPM's removed and installed them yesterday.
Running 215/55/17 Bridgestone Turanza's for Tires now!
Here's a few quick pics!
Oh yeah I got rid of the Carpet on the Dash too!

well Joe ya know how i feel about the TRDs...i loved thoes. but these dont look bad. personally id think about getting them painted that same gunmetal cuz that combo on your car looked amazing man. if it were me id hang on to them and see if i could trade your 18" TRDs fro a ser of 17" TRDs. best of both worlds..
I can dig it. Think I liked the TRD's a bit better, but these arent bad either. Your interior is pristine though. Have yet to see a gen3/3.5 with an interior that looks that nice.
Don't get me wrong, I like the look of stock wheels but I think this particular style doesn't flow well with the gen3. Doesn't look bad though. Just my opinion. Sounds like you got them for a good deal
Man that thing looks 10 years newer in additon to that it gives it a more mature/sophisticated(?) look instead of flashy kids wheels (no offense ). But I really do like the newer wheels on your Camry. I was also kicking around the idea of getting a set for my coupe not too long ago. I was in need of tires so I thought I might as well see if I can get some newer wheels that need tires and just do it all at once. Do the larger diameter wheels make a noticable difference in cornering compared to a stock 14" or does most of the body roll in a gen 3 Camry come from weak sway bars?
