Yeah...sanding then painting. Doesn't sound like an easy task. The paint/whatever that covering on the steering wheel is started peeling on my steering wheel a little while ago. Underneath is a rough fabric that seems like it would be challenging to cover with paint easily.

If you did in fact paint the steering wheel, I would LOVE to see a short and sweet DIY afterwards.

here's how it sits now. Yes, it's an SE look-alike wheel.... upgrading from my old gray wheel to a leather one. Looks GREAT right now.

Just waiting for it to set and then I may need to touch up a few things on the back of the wheel itself.

Nice! if i cant get a cheap pblack wheel i think i might do that myself...but the seqouia wheels are black and are an exact look alike to my gen 4 wheel at least in pictures it is...but this is something i can keep in the back of my head
