Good things to change while doing timing belt

I just bought a 96 camry 4cyl 2.2 with 111k and am about to do the timing belt because i have no way to know if its been done.

What are some good things to change while you are changing the timing belt? I know the water pump but are there some seals or other things i should think about trying to change while i am at it? I have an oil leak on the back side of the engine i was going to try to find while in there.

Thanks

Camshaft and Crankshaft seals... maybe oil pump seal/gasket?

Some might say change the power steering pump, although that may be a tad pricey.

To go whole hog: timing belt, both timing belt idlers and the idler tension spring, oil pump o-ring, oil pump seal, oil pump gasket, crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, water pump & water pump gaskets.

Your call on the idlers and tension spring -- quite possible still good, but they're cheap and pretty easy to change out.

You may not want to mess with the oil seals until you've gone in and looked around, but one or more of those seals tends to be a leaker over time...

change all the seals that you can, check the pulley bearings for noise, and definitely change your water pump while you're in there.

A complete timing job should include:

(an older www.rockauto.com price list for 3/5SFE)
GATES TCK199 (kit of timing belt with two pulleys and instruction)
$84.79
GATES Part # K030295 PS belt $4.32
GATES Part # K050435 Alt/AC $12.12
FEL-PRO TCS45641 Cam seal $4.11
FEL-PRO TCS45920 Crank seal $6.04
BCA Part # 221820 Oil pump seal $2.71
AISIN (Toyota #16110-79185?) water pump $58.79
FEL-PRO VS50304R valve cover gasket set $13.94

As others mentioned, you can go into other areas, such as engine mounts, coolant hoses, thermostat, PCV valve/grommet, alternator brush assembly (~$15), oxygen sensors, spark plugs, etc.

But many of these can be done at other times easily (for example spark plugs and oxygen sensors). I'd use only OEM for engine mounts and thermostat. I'd tension the drive belts using a Krikit-II gague, about $20 on Amazon:

If your hoses are still soft and the belts look good there is no reason to replace them.

Head over to toyodiy.com/parts and enter in your VIN number -- you can look up all your part numbers there.

Also, if he's still in business, user "volkstoy" on ebay sells reasonably-priced timing belt / water pump / oil seal kits for a lot of Toyotas. Not Toyota-brand, but the parts are made by Toyota's OEM manufacturers (Asin water pumps, etc.). Very good quality for the price.
