Spoiler delete for gen 4/Gen3

Has anyone ever removed factory oem spoiler off their camry ?
I want to do same thing and curious about how people dealt with them holes in the trunk? Is is better to just replace the whole trunk for one w/out a spoiler?
Or should I just buy 4 flexible magnets (like the ones you put on a fridge) and glue them shut over those holes..( i've just thought about this idea !)
Thank you, o all mighty TN forum!!!

^that red car is gay!^

the best thing to do is to replace the trunk. youll have to repaint it anyways if ya bondo and sand unless you or someone ya know is great at matching paints. which most arent. your other option isd to get little caps and jsut try to paint match them with chip paint...but thats gehtto and looks weird, even though lots of people do it.

whatever method you use you will end up painting the trunk.

best thing to do is just replace the trunk with the same color as your car (trunk without spoiler)

Thats why I got rid of it...but there's NO bondo there, pieces of metal were welded in the holes then the welds were smoothed with a grinder, primed and painted!

I'll trade ya trunk lids Are you paint code 3L3 as well?

Gotta be honest, I think the 4.0 looks TONS better with the spoiler than without. Mine doesn't have one

4th Generation

If it's 3K4, my father-in-law might be willing to either buy your spoiler or maybe do a whole trunk swap on his 98 Camry.
