diy simple exaust

i have been toying with the idea for a while now after looking at the six feet of pipe running underneath the old gal
cut form the cat back clamp on a cherrybomb duel outlet muffler and using pipe from a L.A.P.S. to make the exaust tips shooting out the side just before the rear tire

seems simple enough ive done shiy like this before the only thing that worries me is local laws

to each their own but im not a fan of that look, on trucks or cars, unless its done well and incorperated into some kind of side skirt. like the roush(i think) stangs.

if its for the look then go for it. if you like it i love it and its not a common thing to see...cept on trucks. but thats the only reason id say do it. cuz if your thinkin that shortening the exhaust will help then ya should just go balls out and dump it behind the front wheels. jsut be sure to watch your path and ground clearance. that seems to be somthing many forget.

As much as I hate to say it, I hope this won't turn out to be another backyard ghetto exhaust that does nothing for performance, and makes a bad sound due to only running a cherrybomb... hah

The last thing we need is an exhaust falling off in the middle of the road (I know ASG14 and Eye8 will chime in on this one...LOL)

shit...what id be worried about is smashing the exhaust between the frame rails and a speed bump. youll have to run the exhaust pretty far back before running them out to the sides so you can avoid that...even then it will be close.
