Heater fan fuse or wiring diagram
So I got a new to me 96 wagon (to go with the 95 I just posted the brake quesiton on.). All the electrics seemed to be working fine and then suddenly in the same day or two, the parking/running/dash lights kick off and the heater fan does the same.
There doesn't appear to be a connection other than just Gremlin's intent on the corollary to Murphy's law that more than one thing will break at once on any car to confuse your diagnosis.
So the parking lights succombed easily to a replacement fuse, although they won't stay overloaded long enough for me to find out why it's blowing so I just keep a box 10 amps in the ash tray.
But I can't even find the fuse that claims to be for the heater fan. The owners manual shows fuses located in so many places it will make your head spin and I don't seem to see any bad fuses and the heater fan fuse isn't labeled, at least not in a way that speaks to me.
I know some of these have had circuit breakers I think closer to the fan itself although the ones on my toyota pickups seem to be self resetting. If anyone can give me the general runthrough on where to locate the fuse and the general path and theory of the wiring from there to the fan, it's starting to get the point where I need a defroster so I'm going to have to dismember it.
Thanks,
Brian
