3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Well, here's my times:
1) 92.681
2) 999.999+OFF
3) 97.382
4) 86.492
5) 83.490
BEST 83.490
Here's everyone in my class:
96 Camry LE
02 Subaru WRX
Saabaru (I think this was the Saab 92X made by Subaru. )
95 Honda Civic
06 Subaru WRX STi (Placed 2nd overall.)
I placed 29/30 overall (beat a 06 Pontiac GTO) and 5/5 in my class (Street Mod). Don't care so much about my placement especially since I was up against a HEAVILY modded civic and 3 AWD cars but my times went down with each run and I had fun, so thats good. It was also raining all day so the track was wet. Soooo much fun.
I'm working on my in-car video of the runs now.

^ still working on the vids. the GTO was the fastest car there (right above the Charger SRT-8 Super Bee and C5 Z06) and it's RWD.... that much power and RWD in the rain and an unexperienced driver... yeahhhh

you should of lost more of the electronics and take down that civic.

SADLY, SHE HAS MUCH MORE MODS...
thanks everyone! I'm running performance all-season tires and it was raining. That civic had an engine swap and placed 1st overall.
edit: i would have removed more weight (spare tire, radio, back seat) if it wasn't raining!
edit edit: Joe, you need to come to the next one! November 17th!
