Hi Folks

i have a 99 Toyta Solara V6.
i recently got my CEL light on anwhen i scanned i got a P1410 manufacturer control auxiliary emission controls.
COuld that be the Cat?

your help is appreciated

P1410 is a EGR Valve Position Sensor circuit malfunction. See http://www.camrystuff.com/manuals/Gen4/Diagnostics.pdf page 358 for details.

Most likely. It's worth inspecting first, 'tho -- might be a bad wire/connector or vacuum hose. http://www.camrystuff.com/manuals/Ge...on_Control.pdf , page 19 shows roughly the location (back near the EGR valve). Page 28 is the start of the inspection and R&R instructions...looks to be a pretty easy DIY project.

If you need to get the part, you can look up the actual part number at http://toyodiy.com/parts .
