3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I think it is disc brakes. You can tell by either looking at the brakes, or see if you have the emergency brake or the foot brake in your car. Emergency brakes, most likely its drums, if foot brakes, then most likely disc.

As ASG14 said, all gen3 V6's were disk brakes. All gen3 V6's EXCEPT the V6 SE have footbrakes. The SE has a hand brake like the I4 models do.

I'd have to see if that was the same here in Australia... I coulda sworn that Davey's Vienta CSi had drums on the back... well, I'll find out soon enough. I know for damn sure he doesn't have ABS though
ABS is great... has saved me quite a few times with wankers planting their brakes on in front of you, lol..

Foot-brake? cmon, you don't wanna feel like you're driving a minivan or something, do ya?
Handbrakes are teh win
*edit*
actually, My car is a V6 LE with the handbrake and 5-speed...
since it's canadian, built in Japan, I'm guessing it's the CDN version of the SE maybe?

if i remember correctly the V6 LE in canada could be upgraded to the same level as a USA V6 SE trim line.
US SE Camry (92-93)

oops, my bad
maybe I didn't think that question through too clearly
still, it's a lot funner than the e-brake in the Explorer (AWD would explode if I ripped that one while moving;
BUUUT yay for snow, V8's and oversteer-drifts)
