ok so today i went to open my door and it came off idk why or how, but is the anyway to get that back on or i have to buy a new one.
the circle part is what came off. just that one little piece
lol this has happened to me except it was the coldest day last winter. i have been to the junkyard several times in search of a new one but it seems to be a commonly broken part because they were all gone. i have a flap of duct tape i affixed to it, so now i just pull the tape and the door opens right up.

That happened to me too I just got a new door handle to replace it
Mines been like this for over a year. I keep meaning to get around to fixing it, as it's esp. annoying when it rains or you have your hands full, but I do enjoy the mystified nature of anyone else who tries to open the door.
my crap door handle broke before got a replacement and that broke as well.
i also have a hard time unlock door with key
not to mention my key gets stuck in the ign and i have a hard time startin my baby.
(i think the key cylinder is bad)
