Trottle Body wires tension

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody can help. 5sFE 2000 LE 2.2

I am trying to address this problem that is going to either kill me or drain me dry. Try accelerating to cross a street when the car hesitate or merging onto a busy highway. My problem 2000 Camry LE 2.2 hesitation to accelerate

I am trying to figure out if the two Trottle Body wires should be tightly secured. Not sure if it is called the Trottle Body wire but it is by the Trottle and the black air filter. The top wire is tightly or snugly secured while the bottom one has some play where it will move 1/2 inch when i touch it with my hand.

I believe you are talking about the throttle cable(tight one) and the kickdown cable(loose one) this is normal.
