So i am looking on summit racing and well it gave me 4 options on the front brake pads. and just wondering whats the diffrence and wich one is beter and why..
The only Hawks I would run are the Blues or DTC70s..............
When it comes to pads, there is no such thing as a compromise. You either have a pad that runs well on the street (quiet, low dust, but overheats if pushed too much) or well on the track (noisy, dust like hell, but stops on a dime). HP Plus will dust quite a bit on the street, and if taken to the track, I've seen them fade like crazy after just a few laps. Just get some ceramics on the street and be done with it.

so im guessing getting black rims with ah chrome edge would be ah good idea.. so that it wont be to obvious?
note: follow manufacturer's burnishing instructions to the letter to avoid any noise.
also remember to keep fresh (2-3 years max) brake fluid for best performance.

HPS, LTS, or ceramic for street. HP Plus for track only.
There seems to be range of comments on noise and dust. But Fenixus seems happy with his HPS new install. LTS is for heavy duty or fleet service. Maybe more cost effective?
Otherwise I'd use LTS for truck or SUV. Maybe HPS or even LTS for sedans. The HPS cost Fenixus about the same as an Akebono ProAct set.

yup, i'm really happy with them. please also consider that i need to adjust my rear drums (original OEM pads still) which came back to life after brake flushing - they had lots of air in them. I wouldn't be surprised if they barely catch as for some time i was complaining on soft (deeper than in my old buick 1992) brake pedal. it might be that my car brakes mostly using front calipers, which maybe could be the root reason of my whole "fixing brakes quest"...
also i can imagine, that with new rotors in front those brake pads would be even better! (too late for me, you can still go this way)
as per noise: zero
as per dust: too early to say in my case i think, but i'm prepared for a moderate/heavy residue as per touringcamry posts (he uses those pads too).

I don't use those any more. I had them for roughly 4 years and 50000 miles only because I wrecked the car. I think I wore through half the pad at that point.
