I have a 92 camry with a 2.2. Replaced the belt because it was squealing. Well after stripping the tensioner bolt I just tighted the belt with a pry bar just to get me to work for the day. It started slipping also and I actually could smell the belt burning and there was smeared belt on the crank pulley. Bought a new belt and got a new bolt for the tensioner. I wire brushed the pulley prior to install and the crank pulley was smooth not grooved like i am used to seeing is this normal. Thanks.
