I was wondering what is the most accurate way to set the timing on the distributor on a 1993 Toyota Camry 2.2L?

Are you talking about getting the dizzy lined up properly? Some white-out on the dizzy and block will make it easier to time so you have a reference point to go off.

You need a friend working the timing light and watching the mark(with wite-out on the groove too) on the pulley.
