which ones are coming off, and wheres the TRD badge going (was thinking where the LE is)? i feel cluttered so its time to clean! ..or maybe black some out?
- off topic, anybody know where i can get ahold of the TRD grille badge. looking for one located in the US & cant seem to find it on ebay
I'd take everything off except for the Toyota symbol on the trunk. That would look a lot cleaner.
I think there was a member on here that was selling the TRD badges (he had a ton of them on hand). If you must put it on, I would put it on the top right part of the trunk. I was going to get one but decided not too since I want to maintain the clean/simple look.
Im gonna have to say shave that ass bare. It looks super sexy with no badging not to mention the bonus (confusing cops). Maybe a TRD badge on the right of the trunk would look hot. As far as the TRD badge for the grille I dont think youll find one here in the states but mine came from China or Japan. Got it off ebay and it has two threaded posts on the back to attach it to the grille somehow.
saw you PMed me. Remove the badge and spray the area with 3M adhesive remover. Rub on the gunk with a microfiber cloth until dry-ish. Switch to isopropol (rubbing) alcohol and rub it with that. then alternate between the 2. That's what i did for mine.
edit: i'll have some TRD emblems for sale soon enough.

i say since you cant remove the T because of the pins(easily) then id at least start with the toyota, LE and the little arrow things. the TRD would look best in the toyota location but then youd have to leave the LE for balance. the BEST look would be to strip all badges and then maby put on the TRD one.
1. Take out the "toyota" name, those "wings" off the sides of the sombrero, and the "LE" badge.
2. Color match the toyota sombrero to the car's paint.
3. Space out the " S C E P T E R " lettering further apart then color match that with the center panel so it gives a clean look from a far- almost acts like a Ninja!, you won't see it until its about to hit you!
4. use these instead! and put put them on right above the front side moldings.
yea i agree with taking off the "Toyota" "LE" and the "< >" arrows. as for the scepter lettering, yea needs to be spaced out, but were you saying to paint them black to blend with the center panel?
what if i took them all off besides the sombrero and tinted my red tails to a light black? clean?
how hard is it to fill in those holes though? I know the 'toyota' lettering on the left side has the holes in the trunk for it. does the 'le' have the holes too?

its impossible to know if the TOYOTA and LE/XLE/SE/V6/whatever have holes. Camry's are weird like that.

well i know the toyota has it since i started doing that when i put my scepter panel on but then didnt wanna bother with the holes so just put it back on lol
I removed all of them on my 2001 except for the symbol right in the center of the rear. I left that there because the body is actually raised and it would look funny if I removed it. Since mine is a Gallery Series, I am going to remove those from the sides, and replace them with trd badges once the s/c goes on
It really cleans up the look of the car having all those emblems off in my opinion. I'm not going to put any on the rear of mine...at least not for now, lol.
