This is for a 96 Camry 2.2L. I want to do a full tune up and need to make sure I didn't miss anything before I pull the trigger.

it depends on how much detail you want to go into

i would get some seafoam and some injector cleaner as well for just some basic stuff...

also, check out the gen3/4 comprehensive list of DIY stuff...a lot of good info on there.

Just added the fuel filter 5 minutes before you posted. Can't believe I forgot that. Also added a Hanes manual, I may need that in the future. It's a good thing to have laying around.

All in all it was 142 bucks after shipping. Not too bad considering how many parts I got and how long it should all last.

Consider getting a distributor o-ring from the dealer. Didn't see it on rockauto.com. How's the valve cover gasket?

NGK G-Power is a very good value. You'll come up ahead of iridiums replacing even 30K miles (if they don't last until 60K). Next step up I'd go with NGK Iridium-IX ($6.80?) and then Laser-Iridium ($7.56?, "Premium Iridium").

If you don't already have a torque wrench for the plugs, just get one from Harbor Freight. See if you can find anything from Sears too on Black Friday that you like.

don't use an aftermarket fuel filter. I used to install an aftermarket fuel filter and got poor gas mileage from 25mpg to 19 mpg and tried another aftermarket and still 19~20mpg. I finally installed a genuine one and got 25mpg back. I also heard bad things about aftermarket fuel filters. try genuine for the fuel filter.

wow, are you serious? no other problems/fixes on car? currently i'm having a cheap Champion fuel filter from autozone. getting around 23MPG. not sure if i want to replace the fuel filter with toyota one as of now, but it might be worth it though... in past i was getting up to 28-30 MPG.

also i'm using now NGK Laser Platinum plugs - they cost a bomb (around $9 a piece on amazon), but they make my engine run real smooth and idle much better than with former Bosch Platinum+2 plugs.
