a140e how much fluid??!!

so i drained the pan changed the filter/gasket and so far i have about 3 quarts in but im shure it takes more how much

i have to do a 800 mile trip on the 19th so please help!!!

The guy at the auto parts store told me 5 quarts is needed for a simple drain and filter replacement. I added 4 and I think that might have even been more than needed. So... stick with 4 and you'll be ok. Of course, just check the fluid level too. If it's at max, then you're good?

I just looked it up in the owner's manual. It's up to 2.6 quarts for drain and refill so before adding any more, check the fluid level

well i did 2 quarts of trans fluid a half of Lucas trans fix and another half a bottle of trans fluid the dipstick isnt dry but that Lucas additive left a residue on the dipstick so it looks like im just picking up stuff from the dipstick tube

the guy at napa told me 4.7 quarts so i bought 3 quarts and another quart of lucas trans fix
