3rd Generation Tranny Swap??

Hey guys im new and have a 1994 camry le and it is auto but i want to change it to manual any suggestions and is it hard to do? and how much would it run me to do so??

search function will be your best friend on this. but its time consuming and isnt really worth it unless you can do it yoursefl or know someone who can. a shop will charge a lot.

Not happening unless you do EVERYTHING yourself, and find a good deal on all the parts.

IF you have a shop do it, the labor alone for the swap will likely be $800-$2k.

If you have no idea what your doing, 2 weeks. IF you know EXACTLY what yuor doing, and do not run into ANY issues, a full weekend, non stop, no breaks. Again, thats assuming there is not a single issue and you know what your doing.

my guess would be you've looked only in camry's of which 90% or more are automatic. have you looked in any celica's by any chance?
