1995 Camry O/D

Hi i have a 1995 camry and my O/D light on the cluster is busted. I have no idea when my O/D is on or off. When the button is pushed in, does that signify that O/D is on or does it signify that it is off?

and are the replacement bulbs dealer only?

Button in = O/D is ON

Button out = O/D is OFF

Another way to tell is if your RPMs are more than 3K at 65mph, your O/D is OFF. My 96 4cyl does 65mph at ~2500rpm

Yeah button in = on. You could also go for a ride on the highway and see that way.

For the easiest change-out, just grab one from the stealership. See the DIY for replacing the "D" lamp at DIY: Gen 3 "D" Bulb replacement for instructions on how to get to the bulb...O/D bulb is in the same instrument cluster.

i was only able to find one at the dealer. i also recommend swapping the "d" and "p" light bulbs with other less used ones in the cluster. since those are lit most of the time the car is on, odds are those will be the next to go.

I just went to a local salvage yard, and pocketed all the culster bulbs from a wrecked Camry, and walked out saying I didn't find anything. So I have all the replacment cluster bulbs that I'll ever need for my car for only $2(admission fee).
