4th Generation new camry

hello TN members! iv been here around looks at everys1 gen3 n 4 camrys. if it wasnt for this website, i woulda never gotten another one, knowing so many stuff you can do to them. many of you may remember me from an accident i had back in march wit my gen3 camry - RIP 92 Camry -

but yeh, now im up on a gen4 camry!

and i wanna share wit my camry lovers.

i got it today, its a 97 LE wit a 01 engine. its automatic tho =/

here are few pics i got (sorry for camera fone,= bad quality)

but before i get to the pic, i want to ask a few questions.

how can u tell if da engine is from an 01? you know, to make sure its no lie lol.

hopefully i get to do some simple modding like, the red what tailights, clear corners, n maybe exhuast, i wanna go for looks on this 1, i want the TRD kit lip, but i see its HARD to find so apart from everything dis is how it looks for now.

wooHOO welcome back!.. as for the engine thing, idk how you could possibly check if its an 01 or not. But im guessing find a vin stamp on there (if there's any) and run that vin off and see if its from an 01.. its just a guess.

About the TRD kit.. its kinda hard to find- ..

There are two Vin plates on my 2000 Camry. The first one should be right next to the oil filter. The other is back toward the drivers side of the car. If memory serves me correctly it is near the air box.

how can u tell the difference from a gen4 and 4.5? i researched and see that 00-01 headlights wont fit 97-99 unless we change the bumper grill ect, but wuts da difference? i really dont see any changes, i can barely tell them apart, only from the taillights because the 4.5 are a little wider
