4th Generation "Burned out tail light" Dash light

So the burned out light dashlight comes on after I start the car when I hit the brakes, then it stays on.

I replaced every bulb back there (four brake, two turn signal, two marker lights, two reverse lights) and it is still happening! Is whatever is doing the check for the burned out lights defective, and if so, is it easy/cheap to replace?

Did you remember to check the high mounted "third" brake light? Many times people forget that one.

This may be a coincidence but my car was doing the same thing but my check engine light was on also. I replaced the oxygen sensor and all the lights went off none of my tail or reverse lights were bad.

Good point, I'll replace the high mounted brake light even though there's a nice LED bar on my spoiler making the high mounted one useless...
