3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey, has anyone thought of doing a RHD conversion to their camry? Or know what difficulties might be involved (both technically and budgetarily)? This idea just popped into my head, and I figured it'd make good discussion material lol

Need performance parts?
Shoot me a PM, I'll see what I can do
why in the name of god would ya want to do that. in what way would it benifit you? all i can tell is that it would make driving harder. in a silvia or supra or other popular JDM or EDM car i can see it but not a canadian camry...or any camry for that matter. the shipping alone on the parts would be A LOT considering where they'd have to come from...even more if you do a whole front clip(the whole front of the car as one assembeled piece). spend that money on a turbo or more visual mods.
ahaha it just popped into my head
though it'd make it stand out a bit
not to mention how it would trip people out when you get in on the wrong side
money is going to a SC first though, and them maybe a turbo on top of that (when I have enough cash)
posted an idea about a Eaton M90 blower in my Twincharging thread

the project maby(if it were another cooler car)...but it wouldnt be fun explaining why you wasted so much money and time on such a useless projet. and if theres RHD camrys in canada then thats even LESS reason to do it...not as origional as ya think.
gothmog...a 5 speed boosted camry is shock value enough. ya got the 5 speed part so just go from there.
Eh, true enough, although I should also try scrounge up an LSD to go with the blower (or just save up the $1300 + charges for the Quaife one)
but I'm keeping that link for spring break/next summer, when I have more $$$ and time to waste

You'd stand out more with a nicely modded Camry, with or without a supercharger, than you would with a RHD Camry. IMHO, leave the RHD for Skyline's and Silvia's.
