Smaller shifter

If there's one thing I don't like about my Camry's interior, it's the big ATX shifter, I'd love something smaller...I did some searches, can't find anything, is there a shorter/smaller shifter replacement that is easy to do (like plug and play without having to modify the car itself) or am I out of luck?

your not gonna get it much shorter without modding it. i bought this auto shifter and then cut down my factory shifter stalk. looked pretty good i thought.

you could try to see if the shifter from a gs, or sc lexi would fit. i know those are short.

How do you shift in/out of overdrive?

the OD button is a simple 2 wire switch. it has to be cut to remove the shifter anyways. i just relocated it.

i have been toying with the idea of a 4runner/tacoma auto shifter like out of a 98...i just think that shifter has more character than the donkey dick that we are all forced to grab

i almost had my hands on one for 30 bucks ...turned out it was a manual shifter

You could relocate the O/D button, or get a better looking shifter with an O/D button.
