so...a few years ago i threw away a perfectly good wheel off my camry... why? i don't know either. but now i'm trying to replace that lost wheel, but i have no idea what size it is...
i've looked everywhere and can't seem to find any information that confirms the size...
anybody know for sure whether the wheel is 15x6 or 15x6.5??
non alloy. requiring hub caps.
thanks..
(i've already searched the forums here, and ended up on few other catalog sites that don't have any information on factory wheels. all alloys.)
if you look on the right in the first horizontal bar, you can open the original dealership brochure and look at the last pages.
i'll save you some effort:
CE: 14"
LE: 15"
LE V6: 15"
XLE: 15"
XLE V6: 16"
edit: have you tried junk yards? there tends to be lots of camry's there. the 92-01 model 15" steel wheels all should have the same specs.

i know the diameter, i need to know width. there are 2 widths available, a 6.5" and a 6", which is why i'm having trouble confirming which is factory standard. i can't exactly take a tire off my wheel to measure it myself either.
The steel wheels up to '01 are 6 inches wide; '02 and up are 6.5 with a slightly different offset. I have a set of snows on 6.5 wide newer steel and they do fit and work on my '00, but stick out a little bit farther. I could not find the 6 inchers for my car anywhere so got the wider ones new from tire rack.

I tried measuring the wheel diameter and width, but I got a different measurement that's an inch off. I know I have 15" steelies but they came out to roughly 16.25"x6.5" with a tape measure. I must be measuring it wrong. I'll try looking in my manual and see if it's listed in there.
They are a little rusty. I looked all over the wheel but couldn't find anything stamped. They're probably 15x6 like you said though.
Sorry, my fault on this. The tire rack steel wheels I got are new aftermarket, not Toyota. I looked at my steel spare Toyota wheel and couldn't find any marking on it either.
i googled how to measure the wheel... and apparently i'm not supposed to measure what i see, but like... just the parts that the lips of the tires will make contact with the wheel.
who the heck set the measurements to that? it's like... computer hard drives that aren't really 150GB, but actually 136...blah blah blah.
