So I installed the Taurus Lip and lined up the wheel well but made a terrible noob mistake! I didn't move the lip "in" enough and now its sorta protruding.
Here's how it looks:
Do you guys think I can bondo/silicone/caulk it to make it look flush? Which would be my best option?
for petes sake how many holes do you have in it? . it should be fine, just stagger your screws away from your old holes. you should really adhere it with 5lb double side tape rom home depot - $5. then put only a small amount of screws for extra support. that tape is sticky sh*t. and you will have less holes in your bumper. remember have patients, take your time. do it right or dont do it at all.

i would go with self tapping 1/4 inch diam. 1/2 inch length. they will hold excelent with the tape. the bondo is a mess, it cracks, it looks horrible, its a half-assers tool. unless your doing bodywork, a body kit or if you plan on repainting soon. if you cant get the tape and screws now, just take it off or leave it till you can. dont rush a project or it will never end up perfect.

the bumper will hold up fine with holes in it. just be aware of how close you drill the holes together. a small gap between the holes may be weak and may brake creatin gone large hole. id find somone to help ya line it all up.
as bird said, either have someone help you or remove the whole front bumper. it's easiest to put on when the bumper is off the car.

+2 ^^ Remove the bumper and also have a friend help you line it up. Mine went from having a few xmas tree clips and horrible gaps to 8 bolts with washers and no gaps period =] I should have done it right the first time but now it looks great! Take your time =] You dont have to follow the holes that are already on the lip. I used maybe 2 of those and the rest i drilled my own where i was seeing gaps in the lip.
I've lined it up and got it right, but got another question. Is it alright to still use silicone to help with the adhesive? There seems to be still like a 1/16" hole that I'd like to fill up to keep any noise or drag that may come from it. Is there anything wrong with sealing it up with silicone?
^ i think thats gonna make more of a mess than it's worth. just bolt her on.

She's bolted on good, nice and tight fitting but just thinking that some silicone will help fill her for a seamless touch. I'll let you guys know how it goes if I do it, and will post up pics.
