Well today I ordered Genuine Toyota Front & Rear OEM Pads,+Toyota Disk Brake Kit, Brembo OEM replacement rotors, front & rear!.(4)..+....I am also going to change out old brake fluid to probably Valvoline Syn Brake fluid!.......Parts were $376.13....... I think that what I paid was reasonable however for top quality parts........
Local dealer for Pads, he lowered his price after I told him his original price was higher than an internet Toyota parts dealer! (LOL).....www.buybrakes.com for the Brembos, & www.ToyotaPartsExpress.com for the Brake hardware kit!......
Color me clueless, but I thought the Toyota brake hardware kit came with pads. For some reason I'm having trouble getting to www.toyodiy.com/parts today, so I can't check the parts catalog to be certain...
BTW, while you're busy draining the wallet, you might want to add on some SS braided hoses.

You are right it does! I got the pads from the local dealer & just needed the brake hardware kit for the job....I had to clearify that from them! (LOL)...What will stainless braided hoses do for me & if I wanted them, were would I obtain them for a good price?
You could also try the Brembo/Hawk HPS combo. The best batch of Toyota pads are Akebono FF-friction rated ones. See if you see the code on the back of the pads. Should look like "AK xxx-xxx FF".
Castrol GT LMA (Low Moisture Activity) is also a great brake fluid. The Valvoline is also LMA.

Given you paid $376 for 4 Brembos and 2 set of pads, I take it it's $93.51 for both front/rear pads? If you paid $93.51 for BOTH, then you got an EXCELLENT deal!! The problem getting pads from the dealer is you can never be certain what brand the particular batch is. Akebonos easily last like 60-90K miles.
However, if $93.51 each set, then that's not as good of a deal. Because TireRack is running a special for fronts $65 and rears $61. The Akebono ProActs are on sale for $56/46.
Fenixus got Hawk HPS for about $50/set on Amazon for his 5SFE Solara. But I'm not sure if these will out last the Akebonos.
Yeah, looks like 1sttoyota prices for pads are around $34-44 for various models. So if you got the Akebono Street Performance it's decent. So don't bang against the wall.
A couple months ago, before I learned about 1sttoyotaparts, I bought a set of front brake pads from a local dealer for about $75. I'll be putting them on at the start of 2010, when I put the new tires on. But I wonder what pads I got, those cheaper ones or the good ones. o.O ...at that price they BETTER be the good ones.
I'll have to check the back of 'em tomorrow!
