'95 Camry LE Wagon coolant problem

Hey everybody,
I flushed the anti-freeze out of the radiator of my mom's '95 Camry LE Wagon. It's been about a month & a half or so since i did the second flush on the radiator, the fluid is filthy & brown. I am not sure what is it fixing with. One of the times that I flushed it, I used CLR rust cleaner in the radiator & it was okay for a couple weeks. I think it might be a cracked gasket, but if it was, wouldn't the can smoke badly? There is nothing abnormal, it just feels very weak for some reason. Can anyone help shed some light on this issue.

A very dirty cooling system might require a back flush to get rid of most of the rust you appear to be describing. Some auto repair shops have a machine that can back flush the cooling system. You might call around to auto repair shops in your area and ask if they have such a machine and the cost of this service.

I had asked a gas station near my house, he told me it will be about $70.

What did you replace the coolant with after the flush? Is the coolant level dropping?

If you suspect a cracked head or a leaking head gasket, have a garage test the coolant for combustion byproducts. Quick and easy check.

Nope, I am changing the coolant w/anti-freeze. The fluid level is the same, it's just brown & oily. I am going to check the oil tomorrow morning to see if there is oil in the engine, tranny & the brake fluid.
