Single HID Beam with normal highs?

I really didnt know how to search this..i guess the topic is too exact? but i ordered a single beam xeon hid kit and am now in the process of waiting for it. so in the mean while my friend with a 6000k hid lets me drive his srt to get used to them.

anyways, i wanted to know if it was possible to still use the normal bulb highs with the single hid beams? i wanted to throw in some yellow bulbs in their place.

if you cant do this, then why? doesnt the hid kit just plug and play through the lows?

yes it does, it work fine but ONLY if you have projectors

liek he said...yes you can, im running that exact thing on my cam. the HIDs will look cool but the light pattern will be all over the place with out projectors.
